Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and evolution of backend systems using Elixir and Phoenix

Take ownership of technical architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability decisions

Support and maintain our existing platform built with Ruby and Ember.js, while driving gradual improvements

Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code, setting standards for the team

Review code and enforce best practices across the engineering team

Mentor, guide, and grow engineers through technical leadership and hands-on support

Drive technical discussions, brainstorming sessions, and solution design

Collaborate closely with product, business, and client-facing teams

Own delivery of complex features end-to-end, from planning to production

Proactively identify technical risks and propose long-term improvements

Support production issues and ensure system stability and smooth releases

Technical Skills

7+ years of software development experience

Active hands-on experience with Elixir & Phoenix

Some hands-on experience with Ruby

Writes clean, high-quality, and maintainable code
