Mandatory Skills: OCI, Core DBA, Oracle Applications (EBS) Administration
· OCI experience is a must as per client.
· Design, develop, implement, and maintain core Oracle DB and associated applications.
· Configures, monitors, troubleshoots, performance tuning, clones, patches, and upgrades the DB and Oracle EBS applications version 11 or above for effective business operations and administration.
· Must have Oracle Application Manager (OAM) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience.
· Must have experience with Cloud (OCI) migrations (DB and/or APPS)
· Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle EBS v 11 or above application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades, using Oracle EBS R12 Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools to apply patches and system updates.
· Maintain SQL / PLSQL processes and Ensure DB availability.
· Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
· Actively seek to optimize and simplify DB architecture and take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.
· Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.
· Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB.
· Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
· Determine and document DB policies, procedures and standards.
· Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.
· Ensure SLA's & operational KPI’s are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.
